`nervous last night!
Posted: 01-19-08 16:12pm

hey peoples....
um? it aint about sex..but my boyfriend and I are going through a long distance relationship for a while.
well..last night we were talking on the phone..
actually, I called him after I took a shower.
I told him that I accidently cut myself from shaving.
then out of no where.
he asked me if I shave?...[[you know...DOWN THERE?!]]....
omg! I felt so nervous to answer that question......
he's the first guy that I've talked about sex to......
we've been together for a LONG time now!....
so should I just BE OPEN with him??????....
that's what he wants me to do? Embarassed

If you feel comfortable being open with him and talking about these things with him, go for it! Relationships and intimacy are all about being open with each other and finding out what you like and don' t like. It is nerve wracking at first, but as time goes on the scary feelings will start to go away. Maybe try getting him to talk to you about personal things first will help you open up some. Take it slow if you need to!

so he'll laugh and say that it's CUTE!.....
he asked me questions that NO other guy that evr asked me before!....
like asks me about my PMS issues...
do I shave?....
you know....[[personal stuffs.....]]
so should I just get over being scared to answer his questions?

That is great that you are building trust and that he thinks it is cute that you are nervous about it. It shows that he really cares about you and respects the fact that you may be nervous. I would give it a shot and keep on answering his questions!

being shy is good Smile most guys like when girls are shy at the beginning of the relationship. (when we build a relationship, we feel good of ourself building trust with girls) Once you get a little bit more comfortable with him it going to be really easy to talk to him about sex.

Personally it varries. Sometimes I trim, sometimes I shave it all off, and sometimes I leave a landing strip (shave around the labia and sides and stuff, but leaving a strip/patch of hair above). It depends on my mood. It's all your own personal preference.

Ditto!!! No shaving....I hate the razor burn. It's so worth it just to wax it off.
Oh and by the way Crazyinluv, its ok to be a little nervous discussing certain things with him. You don't want to give out to much information right away....what will be left for him to find out?

I think its great to be open with your partner.

I mean, it took me awhile to get used to it and some things we talk about still make me cringe but I did my best to be open with my bf. It's just whatever you're comfortable with. Things are a lot less stressful when you can just talk about things openly though.

As for shaving, I do whatever I feel like at the time and only sometimes I shave everything-- special occasions kinda thing.

I was just saying that its ok not share things with him just yet if it makes you uncomfortable. When I used to date (I'm married now) I was a tease to guys...you know giving them just enough to leave them begging for more. But if you want to be open with him and tell him personal stuff then by all means go for it...its what's comfortable for you that matters.

so have you actually met him? like face to face or has it been long distance all along?

and how long have yall been together?

as long as your comfortable with it i dont see any harm in talking about these things. but if you ever dont feel right talking about it then you never have to
