I posted this question in another section
and someone suggested that I post here.
May I know if i can evr recover or are
there any treatments that i can seek?
I've had this condition for more than
10yrs already. It would occur whenever I
feel too excited or even for no reason at
all, eg, when I'm just sitting down. All
of a sudden, I would have this feeling of
breathing difficulty for a few seconds and
I can feel my limbs going weak. It feels
though I'm continuing to breathe but my
lungs are not getting enough air, it feels
suffocating.
Then, I would try to relax and calm myself
down. I'll force myself to breathe harder
and get in as much air as possible,
drinking warm water also helps a bit.
Usually I can recover in about 10-15mins
time, it's not a fatal condition just that
I would feel a bit uncomfortable.
May I know what I'm suffering from?

Yeah, it sounds possible this could mirror
a bit of anxiety in your life. Set back
and think of you daily routine and see if
there is any thing that you are unhappy or
hesitatnt about doing each day, week or
month. Sounds like it is not as bad as
some but, what we here call "tiggers" are
the things you have to take into
considerations. Like me, I have many and I
know what they are. I wish I could walk
away from some of them, but being family
matter I just can't. Now something like
work as a "trigger" you can leave that
behind and find a less stressful one.
These are just some examples what could
cause an attack. Tiggers are the most
common cause of anxiety. Then you have the
onset of unexpected anxiety. Like when
something unusual happens that you did not
expect and hard to handle.
If this continues or worsens see a doctor
to get a proper diagnosis to be sure.
