After I have a bowel movement, I have 1 of
2 problems:
1. I can wipe and wipe and it never gets
clean.
2. If it does, then once I get up and move
around, fecal matter moves down and
irritates the rectal area and many times
leaves marks in my underwear.
The feces that comes out seems to be of
normal hardness and shape, but then it
turns into a much smaller diameter (about
.5 – 1 inch diameter) and that part wont
come out.
I have bowel movements usually every day.
What is the problem?

Do you think that the bowels are empty?
Do you feel constipated or are the feces
flowing pretty freely?
In order to be sure that your underpants
stay clean, you can clean your anus with
water.

I have this symptom as well as others such
as stomach pain and bloating. I had a CT
scan that says I have an indirect inguinal
hernia. The hernia can sometimes remove
some of the pressure in your large
intestine making it difficult to empty the
stool. (imagine a garden hose with a kink
in it).
