Of course you must drink water to stay hydrated, especially during pregnancy. My problem is, the only water I LIKE is spring water. Because we don't have running water right now (long story, posted a rant earlier about it), we have to buy our drinking water. And because I didn't go with the guys to buy it, they got 'drinking water'. Which I swear they did on purpose just to make me mad.

Some people say I'm crazy, but I can tell the difference between spring water and purified. I can't STAND Aquafina because it's purified. The reason I can't stand anything but spring is it gives me heartburn. The only thing so far to do so.

So I'm sitting here, forcing myself to drink the water, and popping Tums every 5 minutes to ease the pain of it.

Anyone else get heartburn from weird things like water or am I just a freak of nature?

I didn't get 'heartburn' per say... but it WOULD come right back up!!

I hate aquafina too...it's tooo hard!! I like kentwood, or a softer water.

That's one reason I like city life! The tap water is AMAAAZINGGG!! LOL!

I'll only drink spring water, and Earl bought me an Evian one time and I flipped because I thought only rich people/people in movies drank that!! lol, I'm so sheltered lol.

I agree! but usually my choice around here is Nova Blue. Could be softer, but the only spring water at the convenient store.

I'm eating yogurt now, and OF COURSE, TUMS to the rescue! Don't ask me how yogurt gives me heartburn, same mystery as the water I guess.

that's the only type I get. The burning is usually only in my throat. weird, but the TUMS help with it, so I consider it heartburn.

In the heartburn commercials, they say it's your chest burning. Again, I only get that occasionally, but it always burns in my throat.

I think it can be different for some people but mine is a burning sensation that starts from the center of my chest and shoots up to my thoat. Sometimes I throw up a little bit in my mouth, sometimes the burning just keeps coming and I feel very bad until I take about 3 tums and then is settles. It just doesn't feel good at all.

Milk?!? that actually soothes mine lol. Nausea is common in the 1st and 3rd trimester. Just don't eat before 11. As long as you're getting your nutrition, you should be fine.
