missed pills and breastfeeding Posted: 01-21-08 18:29pm
I have just had a baby 5 months ago which
I am breastfeeding too. I started to get
my period straight away after giving
birth. I am on the minipill although
missed taking them for 2 days about a
month ago. 2 weeks ago I got my period
although it was very light and only lasted
for 3 days.
The last week or so I have been feeling
really tired, sometimes a little sick
first thing in the morning and also a bit
faint. My boobs have been getting a little
bit sore in the last couple of days
although not sure whether it is the
breastfeeding.
I took 2 home pregnancy tests a couple of
days ago although both came back negetive.
I still have this feeling I might be
pregnant!!! What do you think?

well if you had your period and took two t
tests and they both said neg then id say
your most likely not pregnant.
you could also go get a blood test done to
ease your mind
but id say your not pregnant.

Well I think I might wait a few days to
see if the symptoms get any worse and go
to the doc.
I woke up this morning feeling very light
headed and like I wanted to throw up!!
Feels very much the same as the beginning
of my first pregnancy....

go read this site. you can get pregnant
while breast feeding
You can get pregnant while breastfeeding.
Thats how my second child was born. These
days you cant go by a negative test
result. Again, I like explained to someone
before, the pregnancy test is determined
by your babys hcg level. In other words,
your baby has to reach a certain
percentage in order for the test to read
positive. It may be that your babys
hormones havent reached that percentage.
Everybody pregnancies are different, so if
you feel that way, then go see the doctor
to get accurate results. You know your
body better than anyone else
