krystine how did your mind

to go through with pregnancy?
not trying to pick on ya or anything im
just curious to know how you feel about it
all; since its so different from my
perspective
i guess what made me change my mind is
that, yeah it is an irresponsible thing to
have happen, but in the end its your
decision on what you choose to do, which
makes it a responsible decision.
Be it adoption, abortion or keeping the
baby.
Abortion was never a thought, and there
was no way i would be able to give my baby
up for adoption when he or she is born. Id
already have bonded with the baby inside
me for 9 months.
It was irresopnsible of me, because at the
age of 18 im still young but im being
responsible in giving care and love and
nurturing this baby when he or she is
finally born.

o do you agree then that if a girl is
young anf inancially unstable that it
would be a responsible thing to give the
baby up or get an abortion? or are you pro
life or prochoice?

i do think that being financially stable
is key in bringing a new life into the
world, but then again, if the girl is
young..like i know your 16 and have a job
as well as your bf and are able to raise
your little girl (who is adorable btw -saw
a pic of her) financially, but some other
16 yr olds may not be able to do that but
might get a jump start from supportive
parents.
But if that isnt the case then i would say
adoption would probably-no most likely be
the next best thing.

well all the girls i knew who had babys
young where s!uts dont get me wrong, but
they slept with alot of people (i knew
them, they were some of my friends in
middle school) so i thought alot of them
slept around (which isnt true) but i was
14 at the time when i felt that way..
then you see it on tv where the girls get
pregnant on their first time with someone
they arnt dating, which dosnt help the way
you think..
then i had a pregnancy scare and it
changed my mind because i wasnt sleeping
around, and i knew i wasnt the only girl
who this has happend to so not everyone
was just sleeping around... a couple
months later i was pregnant and in a
stable relationship. at the age of 17

i remember when i was a freshman in high
school i was shocked when i saw a pregnant
girl walking around. it never bothered me
though. i have a couple of friends with or
about to have a baby they are the sweetest
people i know. (but not when their
hormones kick in i know im not) but other
than that i have the up most respect for
these girls for being to brave and being
able to with stand peoples comments.
I wasn't a teen mother and
after having my baby I thought, "How the
hell do these kids do it?!" I find it
hard enough now and I am 27 and happily
married. I think I'd have resented the
changes I'd have had to have made to my
life if I'd had a baby as a
teen.
I agree, I'm 25 with my first a son, named
Michael & I also find it very hard to
make sure he has everything he needs. I
know I would have resented having a baby
at 16(I was prego then but had a
misscarrage). And I thought I knew
everything at 16... lol
