how to end it Posted: 01-22-08 07:11am
Well I just typed out the same topic and
then the internet messed up so I've lost
it all. I'm not in a good mood now.
Yeah well basically I've been with my
boyrfriend for 4 and a half years and I
don't know how to tell him that I want to
move on. There's a number of reasons why
which I'm not typing out again but
basically I'm not attracted to him
anymore, but I can't tell him that because
it will hurt him so much. We're doing sex
therapy together and it involves exercises
which need us to be intimate and such but
when we do it I almost can't stand him
touching me, or me touching him. I don't
even want to think about us having sex
again. I don't know why I feel this way
and I hate myself for it, because he's
been nothing but sweet to me (well,
mostly) and he really loves me. This is my
first real relationship so I don't know
what to say to end it. Help me please?
All you can do is be honest. Sit him down
and explain things to him... because no
matter how you do it, it is going to hurt.

I'm doing it tonight. Dunno quite what to
say exactly. I would've done it before now
but things have always got in the way, and
he's been working away all week so I
haven't seen him.
I'm just nervous about his reaction. I
know he won't be happy.
