Missed pills and different brand

Can u get pregnant if u missed the first 3 pills of your next pack of birth control pills and had unprotected sex during that time? I know i've asked this question before but i need to know. Also when i did receive another pack of pills it was a different brand of pills than ive been taking and i had unprotected sex then too!!! Is there a possibility i could be pregnant?

Also if u are pregnant and take the "reminder pills" what will happen? Will u still get a period?

No. You more than likely don't get your period when you are pregnant.

Use back up protection when switching pills and when you've missed pills. Continue taking your pills until your next period is due. It is doesn't come, take a pregnancy test. DO NOT STOP TAKING YOUR PILLS.

If you read your pills it will say if you think you are pregnant stop taking the pills but that's if you are for sure and you want to keep the child and if you do stop use a condom!!! Plus the hormones from the pills could mess up the test. Another thing is make sure you take your pills at the same time everyday and if you miss a day your are not protected another thing when you switch pills you have to wait until next months pills because you are not protected one more thing if you are pregnant no you won't get your period on the "reminder pills" you might get light bleeding but that will be implantation bleeding. Wait a week after your missed period to take a test and if you get a negative and you still haven't got your period get a blood test Smile

If you miss a day of your pills, you will be 'protected' within a week.

It is NOT advised to stop taking your birth control pills until after you know for sure you are pregnant. Which WILL NOT happen until your period is due. So continue taking your pills until you have a positive pregnancy test or your period!

The hormones from the birth control pills DO NOT affect any pregnancy test.

Most of all this is misinformation. Please look at all the informationa available to you.

Birth control pills do not contain HCG. HCG is the pregnancy hormone that is picked up by pregnancy tests making them positive. So no, birth control pills have no relation to positive pregnancy tests unless you are pregnant.

not at the
doctor. if your doctor gave you a blood test it would have shown up.
your not pregnant.
get on birth control if you don't want to get pregnant.
you had your period that's a sign your not pregnant.
