sharp stomach pains with drinking Posted: 01-22-08 15:35pm
Ok so here's the deal. Ive been drinking
since I was 12 years old, Im 20 now and
ever since I was 18, I have been having
lots of issues with my stomach it seems. I
dont really know whats all down there in
the stomach area but pretty much Im sick
all the time. I have puked so much in the
past 2 years. I have sharp pains and the
only thing that makes it feel better is a
beer. I really need help with this, and i
dont have a doctor so please if anyone has
a general idea or wants me to give them
more info on it let me know. I sure could
use the help.

You could have an ulcer or any number of
problems. Given your long history of
drinking you could have worn away your
stomach (in sense) and created an ulcer.
Are you vomiting from too much alcohol or
just from anything? If you don't have a
doctor to go to, then you need to quit
drinking alcohol. You need to give your
body rest and time to heal, otherwise your
just going to make it worse. If you start
having blood in your vomit or stools, you
better get yourself to a doctor fast. I
know you don't want to hear that you have
to quit drinking but you do. Period. You
will destroy your body. And it can't heal
if you don't quit drinking. I'm not a
doctor so I can't tell you much else. But
if you eventually go to one, that's what
they'll tell you. I tore my stomach up
with years of hard drinking and
unbelievable pain when I'd take the first
drink. It was so bad I would curl up in a
ball for a minute or so until it passed,
but obviously after I had a couple more,
there wasn't any pain. So I had to quit
drinking and switched to herbal teas to
heal. Good Luck.
