pregnant or wishful thinking ? Posted: 01-22-08 21:09pm
Hi,
The first day of my last period was dec
10th and today is 1/22/08. my period is
irregular and i usually get my period
every 7 weeks. for one week now i've been
having light headache and feeling
nauseous. my breasts are very tender and
it hurts sometimes. i have been feeling a
little pressure and cramps on my lower
stomach and my back aches occasionally.
i also have high sense of smell to
everything. the problem is i did a
pregnancy test this morning and its
negative. is it possible that i am not
pregnant and my mind is playing tricks on
me or its signs that my period is coming?
should i wait until this weekend to test
again? usually if i am pregnant then i
should know by now, right? its almost 7
weeks already. pls. help. i really want
to get pregnant but every month is the
same thing....hoping and praying for a
baby but instead its just my period again
and again!

well acording to my trusty hand book that
i got from Amricare it says signs of
pregnancy Missing monthly Period , Sore
Breasts , Feeling Sick to Your Stomach and
throwing up(morning sickness) , Wanting
certain foods , Needing Too Pee Often ,
Feelinhi Sleepy.. you have few of these..
i would go to the health department or to
your dr to have a blood test done.. thats
how i found out for sure that i was
pregnant with Averylee

may i ask how far where you when you went
to get a blood test and did you take the
home preg test first? i just don't want
to head to the dr and find out that im not
pregnant...its a sad feeling to go through
that...

i was 10 weeks when i went to the health
department here and i took one and it came
back un desided if you can beleave that
one.. yeah i have been there 4 times and
it come back that i wasn't..

wow...10 weeks and it came back negative?
that's crazy. i have a dr appt this
afternoon...do you think the urine test
that they provide at the dr's office will
give 100% result? i am so worried that it
will come out negative...gosh...its so
hard when you really want to have a
baby....

i went this morning and i am dialated to 1
centameter. if i have not had her by the
11th they are going to induce me that
morning...

i think you could be! theres always a
chance... but then again, women who want
to get pregnant often think theyre having
symptoms of pregnancy when they arent youu
know?
the test at your doctors will give you an
answer...if its neg just keep trying!
youll get what youve been dying for
eventually (:

hey taylormarie and angelinhis- thanks for
your comforting words. i went to see my
dr and the urine test came back neg. i
was very disappointed since we've been
trying forever! well, i guess back to the
drawing board for us. its funny though im
still getting headache/nauseous and my
breasts still feels heavy and swollen. i
guess these are symptoms that my period is
coming or probably i will skip my period
this time due to stressing out about
wanting a baby so bad!
anyway, you guys take care and good luck
