i have a huge problem and need much
advice. I have bad tmj and am aware of
ways to treat it. My problem is I am a
very big tooth grinder in my sleep. I go
through new mouth pieces within 4 or 5
months. My teeth are now almost all
rounded off and I do have nerve exposure.
The dentist I am using has been president
of the ada or some *.Da, I can't recall.
He is very well respected and I respect
him fully. After working with him the
only solution we have come up with is that
I need a new mouth I
need 28 crowns which equals about $25,000.
Ouch. This was about a year and a half
ago but I have been unable to pay for it.
My dentist, however, has never done a
complete tooth restoration on all teeth.
I need to research dentists around
houston, tx to see whom has done this kind
of work. I will see all dentists if
necessary to make sure I will get a
perfect job for $25,000. Please help me,
this is just awful.

Dentistry prices in the country are
disgusting. Good luck with all that.

I was diagnosed with tmj about 10 years
ago and was days away from receiving the
christensen implant. Dont. I had
arthroscopic surgery and been paid free
for the last 10 years. Get as many
opinions as you can. There is always
something new and better out there. I am
in texas and my doctor was great but I had
to go to several before I got to him.
Please know that there is a light at the
end of the tunnel and do not give up.
There are solutions out there. Feel free
to email me with questions.
