First let me start by saying I have very
irregular periods...I usally have onle
every other month..Anyway..I had a period
in May 2007 I didn't have one in June but
in July me and my then boyfriend had sex
on July 14th and on July 17th I started my
period it was a normal 5 or 6 day
period..we broke up on July 18th (found
out he was cheating) I got asked out the
day after we broke up and I am still with
the guy. we started having sex the day
after my period ended..On Sept 2nd I found
out I was pregnant and on Sept 14th the
doc did an ultrasound and said based on
the fist day of my last period I was 8
weeks 3 days...( but my periods arnt
normal)so my due date is april 22nd I am
now 27 weeks and about to get married to
my boyfriend but its really stressing me
out that maybe there is a 1% chance the
baby could be the first boyfriends... by
the way..the doctor said it was not the
first boyfriends...he said I prob got
preggo between July 30-Aug 4..and me and
my now boyfriend did have sex in that date
range..Could it be..thanks for all your
help!!

i would say its your boyfriend your with
now 90 percent sure... because you still
had a period when you split up with ur ex
and u didnt have sex with your curret
boyfriend until u were off if that makes
sense... and you concieve 2 weeks after
your period.. you may not have regular
periods but u had a period for 5 to 6
days

hiya. i hope you can help me
me and my partner split up in october and
i slept with another boy. this was ongoing
for a week. the last time i slept with him
was the 23rd oct and i did a pregnancy
test on the 24th October which was
negative. i then got back with my partner
on the 26th. i had a period from the 27-31
october. i did a pregnancy test around the
6th November which was negative. me and my
partner had been sleeping together
everyday since we got back togther. i then
did a test on the 1st december which was
positive.is there any way the baby could
the be the 1st lads? please get back to
asap. i think i am just being stupid as
if you have a period you are not pregnant,
its just because the dates are close.

You need to trust and believe your doctor.
Ultra sounds can't be that far
off....they are pretty accurate, plus you
weren't even anywhere near the guy on
those dates it's almost three weeks
off....and they can be 2 weeks off at the
very most, which is really really rare.
There is no way that the baby is the
first guy's. Not even a one percent
chance. Even if you are irregular, you
can rest at ease for that. All the best to
you for your pregnancy and congrats on
your future wedding.

Oh, and if you are still unsure and still
need the confirmation on paper, DNA tests
are really simple and easy to get. You
can only do this after the baby is born.
