Cracked skull or concussion
Posted: 01-24-08 03:15am

I cracked my skull in 1997 and had bleeding on the brain.I played contact sport in High School and had no problems. But in my final year, when I was 18, I took a blow on the nose which cause concusion and was adviced not to play Rugby again.
My question is,does a skull which was cracked more than 10 years ago grow back since I was only 13 years old and could it really have an effect if I continue to play contact sport?

If you experienced only a concussion you can continue playing rugby. But if your skull has been fractured and bleeding in the brain, you should refrain from playing hard sports any more.
