A teen mother is not as physically prepared as an older woman to carry a pregnancy and deliver a baby. The delivery can disturb her spine and the stability of her pelvis. The inner genitals can also suffer from further consequences.

Another more important fact is that a teen mother may not be mentally prepared to be a mother. Emotional maturity is a necessity for raising kids. If not properly prepared, a teen mother and her kids can suffer the consequences for life.
