NST (non-stress test) Posted: 01-24-08 09:40am
So, I go for this weeks NST at 1:30 but we
have to leave here at 1
I hope everything goes well. I'm sure it
will. It all went good last Monday.
I guess i'm just scared they are gonna
tell me something is wrong and I'm gonna
have to have an emergency c-section or
something...
I know I really don't have anything to
worry about but I just can't help it.
Well, I'll post back how things went after
I get home later this afternoon..

Good luck. I go to NST, twice weekly and
each time I wonder if they are gonna keep
me in hospital.
Its for baby, and it is the safest way to
ensure he/she is ok and catch something
early.

Thanks...Wow. Twice a week? The ONLY
reason he started sending me is because I
gained 10 lbs in a little over a month...
But I guess it's good because if there
was/is something wrong I know they will
catch it. It just scares me to death that
they could tell me I HAVE to stay. I DON'T
want that.

UPDATE ON NST!!! Posted: 01-24-08 20:42pm
So, I went in at 1:30 and got home at
7:30... I was/am having contractions 8
minutes apart. The baby's heart rate
dropped REALLY low a few times so they
kept me for SIX HOURS! They did an IV and
some kind of test threw an U/S.. I was/am
having contractions but not dilating. I'm
having MAJOR back labor. The doctor was
worried about the heart rate so I go in to
the hospital at 11 pm tomorrow night to be
induced and hopefully by saturday
afternoon i'll have my baby boy.. I'll
update you all ASAP

yeah, It didn't work. I just posted about
it. They used some drug to get me started
then they were gonna break my water but I
didn't dilate enough
