So marijuana numbs you and makes you
paranoid and this supposedly makes sex
feel better because... of some reason.

THC is a bootleg endorphin (sp?), the
bodies natural pain killers. It mimics
them just like most narcotics. Everything
feels better while you're high. Everything
feels worse while you're not.
It relaxes your mind, by slowing
everything down. That fact makes you
paranoid. Also if you're afraid or
paranoid to begin with due to getting
caught smoking. The effect of slowing down
begins to become permanent, the relaxation
doesn't because you don't have the same
endorphin/feel good effect.
In some sense it puts the user in a
highten state of awareness, but also calms
you down, if that makes any sense? You
have a higher signal response to any
stimulus, which makes sex better. While
you're high, of course.

You completely missed my
point if that's what you think I meant
with my post.
FACT: Both alcohol and marijuana are
psychologically addictive.
FACT: Both marijuana and alcohol impair
the senses and can cause an altered sense
of judgment and personal control.
I'm not bashing marijuana specifically,
however I will not stand for people
glorifying the inhaled version of alcohol.
Yes, it affects the body and mind
differently, but that doesn't make it
"better".
i dont mind bashing marijuana i used to smoke
years ago. i'm a relatively smart man who
thinks i can make some observations about
being under the influence of marijuana.
1) it makes you think and act stupidly
and noticably. 2) its illegal. 3) its
extremely addicting. its so addicting
that I used to smoke every chance i got.
4) i became lazy 5) it affected my driving
noticeably 6) often paranoia accompanies
it 7) one day a stupid action you make
under the influence will land you in jail
it doesn't matter
if marijuana enhances sex, as a habitural
smoker i had less of a sex drive.
marijuana shouldn't even fit in the
equation.

Yeah... I might have been slightly
addicted to internet chat rooms and WoW,
but at least they're both legal, and I
doubt I could do something while playing
them that would land me in jail lol.

Marijuana isn't physically
addictive and the point about impairing is
irrelevant because all human thought
processes are capable of altering
judgements. Marijuana use does not promote
violent, irrational behaviour typically.
Neither does alcohol in all cases. It
depends on individual neurochemistry,
genetics, dosage and environmental
conditions. But one would be foolish to
simply classify a drug that kills
thousands of people a year against a drug
that has never killed anyone throughout
its history of use. Only a cretin would
not be able to see the distinction, that
or someone with a bias.
Regardless of that entire side of the
argument, as I said, this is more about
people who have made the conscious choice
to use marijuana, not people with no
experience of it who
disapprove.
I hear you. I agree. Hope that doesn't get
me stalked and harassed by a marijuana
hater like it has on some other threads!
It is OK to
