Soooo, last night, I was DREADING using
the nasal spray.
I got some Sudafed, and of COURSE, it
didn't work...at all. It made me sweat(i'm
guessing because of the acetametaphin in
it...) but didn't help with my
congestion.
I was PIIISSSSSEEEDD!!! I was really
counting on it to help me...
Well, I put some Vicks Vaporub on my nose
and passed out on the sofa...sitting up.
At 3am I woke up not able to breathe at
alllll....so I ran a HOT shower and
stood/sat in it for an hour. I held a hot
rag on my nose and inhaled the steam and
that didn't help either.
So, I manned up and got the Afrin out. I
was PETRIFIED!! So I gave it a couple test
squirts to see if it was a mist, or a
squirt. Well it was DEF a squirt.
Mind you, I did this in the shower so in
case I puked, it wouldn't be on the floor
in the bathroom.
I squirted it once in the REALLY blocked
nostril and kept sniffing to make sure it
stayed up in there. Then I squirted it in
the one that wasn't that blocked...and
it shot to the
back of my throat and I liked to DIE!! I
SWORE Baron would come in there and be
like "what the hell are you doin?!?!?!"
LOL...but he didn't.
So I squirted it 2 more times in the
really blocked one, and 2 more times in
the other one. The entire time, I'm
gagging and coughing and spitting out this
HORRID tasting liquid (while trying to
keep it in my nose).
So, by the grace of GOD, I could
BREATHE!!!
So I got out the
shower and put some vicks on my nose to
keep it clear. Needless to say I passed
out on the sofa and didn't MOVE until
about 9am!!! SO I got in a GOOD 6
hours!!!! WOOOOT!
THANK GOD FOR AFRIN!!!!!! It's a MIRACLE
medicne!!!!
