isolated,never wanting 2 talk 2 people
thinking they will allways judge me ,when
I eat in public places I have a feeling
that people are watching me and it gets
really uncormftable, my question is if I

Hey, first congrats on kicking the
drinking and drug problem! Anywasy I can
relate to what your going through, and i'm
sure alot of people here can too, so your
not alone. It's definetly not too late to
get help, yeh it would have saved you a
hell of alot of trouble- being non
functional- if you had found out sooner,
but hey if we all found out sooner it
would have saved all of us a lot of
trouble. The important thing is your
close to finding out what is going on, and
how to treat it so it doesn't disrupt
another 7 years of your life, as far as
recovering yes it may take a while, but
once you do begin you will feel alot
better and want to continue with it- so
good luck!! And don't give up on
yourself! :d

I'm so glad you finally got your diagnosis
and that you found this web site. Both
will help you alot. And no it is not too
late for you, ever! And don't feel bad
about having had a drinking and drug
problem, those are actually classic
bi-polar symptoms of self-treatment.
There are a lot of famous authors,
painters and artists who were bi-polar or
depressives and they self medicated with
drugs and alcholhol. Now that you know
what the problem is, you can treat it
properly with the help of a doctor and the
right medication.
It might help you also to read back
through some of the postings with symptoms
that sound familiar to you. It helps to
know you are not alone.
