HEEY!!
I'm not feeling any better. Let me say
this ONE MORE TIME!:
THANK YOU JESUS FOR AFRIN NASAL
SPRAAAAAAAY!!!
None of the meds I've gotten have helped.
I even went and got the nighttime
sudafed....nada.
Anyways, The parades were sooooo fun! I'm
gonna upload the pics tomorrow mornin!!!!
Oni's def a bead bandit! She'll knock
people over to get at some beads!! HAHA!!
I walked about a mile(there&back) last
night to get to the parade down the street
from my house. And today it was a short
walk, but I stood a lot...for gravity
reasons! LOL!
I really don't WANT her to come out while
I'm still sick. It would suck to not be
able to breathe when the time comes!!
I have my 40 week Dr's appt tomorrow @ 1!!
& I'm sure he's gonna wanna have an
induction chat...
Maybe I'll let him strip my membranes
goooood! I'd prefer THAT over pitocin or
whatever other drug they'd try.
Cuz sex & orgasms ain't cuttin it...at
ALL!!!
Thanks for askin Dani!!

Walk. Sit on an exercise ball. Sex. Those
are the 'natural' induction ways. Also
some nipple stimulation.
Only works if your body and baby are ready
though. You can't ever force a baby out -
unless you induce with synthetic hormones
(pitocin).

Oh and I wanted to mention about the
sudafed. Of course that isn't going to
work! You are pregnant and can't take
anything! So they wouldn't actually let
you take something that might have
something in it that would do anything for
your sinuses or congestion.

mreh, at least I have my nose spray! I've
formed a bond with it!! LOL!
Baron's going to come WITH me to the Dr's
today!!!
I'm SURE the Dr's going to try to push
induction...but the only thing I'll allow
is for him to sweep my membranes.
What does everyone think about this?
If I don't have this kid by Feb 10th
(that's 12 days PAST my due date), I'll
set a date with him for induction. (I
highly doubt I'll still be preggers in 2
weeks...but ya NEVER know!!)
Sex hasn't worked for this pregnancy. It
did with Oni, but NOT with this one.
Walking hasn't worked either. I do squats
almost all day.
And those late nights in the shower, for
an hour, I stand there for no LESS than 30
mins justa rubbbiinn my
nipples/breasts...thinking "come onnn wit
it!!" LOL!
I'm ready to go through labor, I just hope
I can breathe. Do you think if I go into
labor, and I'm not able to take my spray
for another like 5 hours, they'd allow me
to take it so I can labor??

More women are induced on Tuesdays than
any other day. Why? Because they have
appointments on Monday and the doctor
says, "Induction."
Do what you choose. But if you do not wish
to be induced - THEN DON'T BE! This is
your body and you are in charge of what
happens in your pregnancy.

I was just thinking about telling him that
to shut him up about induction. Because, I
highly doubt I'll still be preggers by
then.
Thanks Ingi, I just wish he would leave me
alone about induction. He KNOWS my outlook
on it, and STILL won't shut the hellll
uppppp!!!!

Ingi, what do you think about the nasal
spray situation?? It's the last sentence
on my last thread.
I know Ashley, I'm hoping he doesn't
mention it...but I'm NOT gonna hold my
breath!!! LOL!!!
I'll be posting parade pics when I get
back laterrrr!!!!

I don't know why you couldn't at least
take it with you and tell them that is how
you are breathing lately - via nasal
spray. Did you get the saline spray? They
have some for babies. I think it is called
Little Noses or something. You might want
to try that, since the mist will be very
fine.
I know that the saline spray IS NOT the
same - but it can give you enough of a
clearing by adding moisture and allowing
you to blow out the gunk to do some easier
breathing.

Well the Afrin does a good job of keeping
all the mucus 'blowable' until my next
dose.
About an hour before my next dose, my nose
gets completely stopped up(from swelling),
and I'm counting the minutes!! LOL!
I don't think they would have a problem if
I wanted to use it for relief while I was
laboring. Even if it has been a couple
hours since I last used it.
I don't think it would do THAT much
harm..
Oh, and I didn't even think about the baby
saline spray. I looked in the adult
section, and they DID have "simply
saline", but it was like a SQUIRT. Not a
mist...at all. And all the others had
chemicals in it, that I wasn't sure
about.
So I'll DEF look into the baby saline
spray! But hopefully this doesn't last too
much longer!!
