The last two nights I've been having a
hard time getting Jay to stay asleep. She
conks out just fine, but wakes up within
5-30 minutes of falling asleep. I've tried
EVERYTHING I can think of... I've held
her, put her in her car seat, out her in
her swing (lying down AND sitting up) put
her in her crib (flat on her back, propped
up with blankets, and propped on a boppy)
lying in her bassinet (same) I've even
tried laying down with her. I've given her
her Nukky and kept it from her. I've
played music and made sure it's silent.
She's dry, she's not too warm, not too
cold, and she's full. I don't know why she
won't sleep! She sleeps from 2 am to 6 am,
then 7-11 am, and then is UP except for
short naps the rest of the day. I'm
getting worried. Is this a phase or should
I call the doctor or what?

few nights, not two. I'm not sure how many
though. 4 or 5, maybe?

i'm having the same problem with grace at
the moment.
i've just been putting her in her pram and
taking her with me where ever i go she
eventually falls asleep. I think she just
feels comfortable knowing that i am
nearby.
I sure (hoping) that it is just a
phase.

Try putting her on her belly to sleep.
MANY babies just cannot sleep on their
backs.
Oni didn't start falling asleep on her
back till she was about 15 months old. And
she'd end up on her belly...still
does...LOL!

I agree. We had the same problem with
Cheyenne. We put her on her belly and she
has slept much better ever since.

She hates being on her tummy, I tried that
and she got pissed
I don't know what was up... she fell
asleep at around 3 am that night and has
been sleeping normal ever since.
