psychological cause for erection trouble ? Posted: 01-28-08 21:30pm
Hey
Im a 21yr old guy who up until recently
has enjoyed a pretty decent sex life.
However the last time i had sex with my
new gf i couldnt get hard enough to
penetrate and lost it within seconds.
Obviously she was upset over it and I felt
ashamed by it and am worried how it will
affect us.
This was the 4th time weve had sex, the
first 2 times went smoothly despite been
worried about my performence however
during the 3rd time her parents woke up
during which freaked me out causing me to
lose it. This last time i just couldnt
even manage anything.
Now im thinking its pshycological but i
managed to perform the first time so i
dont know why that would be a problem at
this point. It may also be due to
tiredness as ive recently not been getting
much sleep however would it affect things
this soon?
Ive been trying to get and maintain an
erection since then but i always feel sick
with worry about losing it and do indeed
lose it. Now im terrified over the next
time we try it incase the same thing
happens
Any advice on this matter would be
appricated

It could have been ANYTHING. Perhaps you
were worried about the parents again?
Perhaps you were tired/stressed? And now
you are probably just so worked up about
it that you panic whenever you are trying
to get an erection and your anxiety stops
you from getting one.
Try and relax. It happens once in a while.
Seriously. Sometimes your penis just
doesn't do what you want it to. This
doesn't mean it will happen regularly.
Just relax and don't worry about it and it
will all come naturally.
You don't have a problem, you are just too
worried about it!
