When Can I Test? Posted: 01-29-08 15:37pm
There is a chance I am pregnant.
I had unprotected just under two weeks ago
and was due to come on my period a week
ago, but it never came.
Would it be too early to do a pregnancy
test? I have read that you can take it
after your missed period but mine was only
a few days after having sex. I also read
that you have to wait 2 weeks after having
sex before it will show up on a pregnancy
test.
Please advise me on when to test.

You can take a pregnancy test as soon as
you miss your period. Good luck.

You would probably be ok to test by now.
If it's negative and your still not
convinced wait another week and test
again. Are you trying to get pregnant?

i didnt show a positive until 3 or so
weeks after my missed period and even
after that i got a blood test & it
came out positive also

I have taken three test the first one was
like a week ago and it didnt turn out
right...the second one i thought said
positive but the cross sign was a little
blurry then the thrid test said either
pregnet or not and it said
pregnet.......iam prego right and if so
what do i tell my parents iam still in
high school thank god its my last
year......

Girl i don't know how to go about telling
your parents about this...it all depends
on your situation, but i know how you
feel...i'm dealing with a pregnancy scare
myself.
Maybe you could talk to someone at a
planned parenthood type of place. I know
theres a pregnancy center around here
called a door of hope that offers many
free things including counsling..they
could help you work out what to say.
800-395-help is a number you could call to
talk out things with professional
counslers...it's free and they'll listen.

just tell them... yeah they will be upset
at first but they have to get over
eventually and tell them your plans and
that yelling isnt going to change the
situation

yeah i have the same issue but mine is
under 1week or so. and i haven't got my
period it's due this week..but still im
really craving always...and
irritated,sleepy,insomia issue,my feet
hurts when i stand up after a short minute
of sitting..like i have swollen feet!like
having injured on both feet. and im
having a hard time sitting in a normal...

These do not sound like pregnancy
symptoms, they sound like something else
may be wrong with you. Your back should
not hurt before you miss your period. And
your feet won't swell until the end of
your pregnancy (if they ever do).

i think im so stressed out...anywaay about
the praggy thing...i'll have to wait...
