pcos on provera

Remember me? Girl who missed her period well for 3 months now and my fiance and I were TTC? Well, I went to the doctor to day for the results from my pap and all those test they gave me and the u/s. Well, they found that I have polycystic ovary syndrome. I was kind of relieved because I'm was expecting the worse. I was scared that I couldn't have kids and thinking it was a tumor, just everything was going through my mind.

Anyways, my doctor gave me provera so my period can come on and she put me on BC so it could regulate my periods. I asked if I could still have kids and she said yes, it may take a while though.

So, in all I guess I can deal with that. It's just heart breaking that I have to return to BC and won't beable to continue TTC. It really hurts now that i'm thinking about it. Crying
or Very sad

It will all be okay. Just think that now you on the road to being able to make some babies, you just have to get "healthy" first!!! Smile That is definitely a plus! Keep your chin up!

I'm sorry to hear about your somewhat frustrating news... Sad Don't worry though, there seem to be lots of women with PCOS (I actually have a good friend at work who has it) and there are lots of things they can do to treat it. Try to be strong...you'll get your BFP. Wink
