Taking Amoxicillin for acne for 5 years? Posted: 01-31-08 16:17pm
I have a friend who's dr. has prescribed
amoxcillin for acne, and has taken it
continually for about five years. It
seems like this is way too long and that
the risks would way outnumber the benefits
in this case. Wouldn't a normal course of
the antibiotic be effective? I was
shocked when I heard this. What do you
think?
