Brina and I are doing well. Well, Brina's doing well. Mommy's not in such good shape though. I found out yesterday that I have pneumonia. I knew something wasn't right when I was getting winded walking down the hall. I thought it was just from my blood count being low but the other night I started hearing the tell tale signs of pneumonia when I would breathe while lying down. Sure enough-that's what it was. My mom said that I've had it for a bit because I started complaining with what I thought was my asthma before she was born last week.

Anyways, so that's our update for now. As soon as I'm feeling a little better I will post some pics of my beautiful princess.

Thanks for the sympathy! I'd be okay if I could just breathe.

I totally feel the same way. With me though, when it rains it pours. I'm just thankful that my little one is healthy. All this sure is putting a damper on the breastfeeding. I pretty much slept from about 5 last night until 4 this morning without waking up so she got formula that whole time with daddy. It was good for them though and Brina needs a healthy rested mommy more than she needs my milk-in my opinion. We're still working on it though. I'm gonna try to pump some more in a bit so daddy will have it when he's taking care of her.

Not being able to breathe is the worst part of being sick. My daughter has had a runny nose and a cough all week, but its not slowing her down much lol.

I totally agree with you Stef.....Brina needs you to be well. There isn't anything wrong with giving her formula and her having a little time with daddy, she needs that too. I am happy that your dh is being very helpful to you Smile

Breast feeding is HARD no matter what condition you are in. It isn't as easy as whipping your boob out, like one would be led to believe. You do what is best for YOU and Brina. Smile
