I had a panic attack (huge) years ago and
my hands completely constricted with
wrists turned all the way in and fingers
stiff in curled position. Couldn't
control.
At the hospital the BP cuff inflating
would cause my hands to constrict again.
Has this ever happened to anyone else?
Thanks so much

This just means that you are not getting
enough oxygen and circulation to your
hands. When people hyperventilate it
causes the hands to constrict and tingle.
I've had this problem myself. It's a
natural reaction and it's true that you
can't do anything about it directly
but..... You should try to breath
normally and in a relaxed manner and that
will cause the problem to stop.

I was told it was normal, but then again I
have learned alot since then about dr.s
and started mistrusting things that have
been said in the past.
Thanks so much for getting back to me on
this, one less thing to wonder about
