Do your research. Just as you do your
research on your own health and decisions
for your pregnancy, etc. Breastfeeding.com
has some great articles, including some
breastfeeding myths! Arm yourself with
information and you can't go wrong.

I typed a huge reply and it didn't go
through!
Okay, to recap: please don't suppliment
with formula!! You shouldn't need it at
all, and it WILL have a direct effect on
your breastfeeding! I can almost guarantee
that! Alyvia didn't poop every day, so I
don't think there's much cause for concern
just yet. Poop = waste, and there isn't
much waste in breastmilk. It's very
possible that Nya is absorbing almost all
of your milk, which is GREAT. Just keep a
count of her wet diapers, and let her
doctor know if she goes longer than a week
without a poo. Even then, I would suggest
a suppository before I'd suggest formula.
She really REALLY doesn't need formula,
and it will screw your breastfeeding up.
