I know sex is okay but, after my boyfriend and I have sex "yes he is well indowed" I am sore it almost feels as if my whole lower abdomenb where my uterus is has thinned out and became tender? I just want to know why an how to fix these problems "postions" we just donot want to harm the baby.

The baby is pretty well protected. Unless he's jumping on your stomach, I'd say it's pretty hard to harm the baby.

I hardly have sex now (I'm 28wks), but when we do, it feels like I'm having a BHC. I do know orgasm are supposed to contract your uterus, but I've never heard of it feeling as though it's thinning out. My best advise to you is to switch positions. Laying on your sides for example or doggy style are usually the best bet. Another good one is lay on the edge of the bed while he's off of it on his knees so you guys are making a 90* angle and not putting pressure on your belly...

Good Luck!

its because when your pregnant your cervix drops (?)
so hes most likly hitting your cervix causing it to bruise (sometimes it can even bleed!!!)

Unless your doctor has told you that you are a high risk pregnancy, you can't harm your baby. It may be just because of your hormones (tissue becomes softer) and for some women, a tighter vagina, that it hurts. Some women never enjoy sex when they are pregnant and others find that it is the best thing ever. Everyone is different.

Like Lilly said, try for different positions and those that will have less penetration so that he doesn't hit your cervix quite as hard. Being on top is best for you because of your belly, but it is also the position for deepest penetration.

It will just take some tries to find out which position is the most comfortable for you. If there isn't any way to make do, there are so many other ways that you can show your love instead Smile

Thank you
I just wanted to know if it was harmful. I am also getting pulsations down there for no given reason and at any given time it feels weird.

sex is fine unless your dr says no. but if your not at high risk fro preterm delivery then its fine. the baby is very protected. you are NOT touching or hitting the baby by having sex

Sex is actually very healthy for pregnant women. Keeps you in shape and things stretched out a little Wink

gosh i feel the same way. I cant take more than an 2 inches of my hubby before he hits my cervix. With my finger it feels like maybe one inch and then bam theres my cervix. I used to be able to take all of him. but now it feels like someone hit me in the stomach with a bat after sex, even slow sex. Is this normal to have your cervix this low while pregnant? My cervix has never been as low as this.

wow, that's a little odd in my book, I've never heard of that. It seems mine is lower now that you say that because some positions we just can't do because it feels like he's hitting my tonsils lol. How far along are you? I'd ask my doctor if it's that concerning to you.

see thats why I am so confused cause I am only 9 weeks. The baby is barely an inch big. thats way to tiny to start getting in the way of sex. heck i wont show for another couple of months. Right? At least thats what I thought. I called the doctor and all my lab work came back perfect no infections. I see her in a week and a half so I will talk to her then. but I literally cant have sex without it hurting. I really hope that this doesnt last the entire pregnancy. I want to have sex.... = (

Could there be a possibilty that I am carrying wrong? What about misscarriage?

I don't think there is such a thing as carrying wrong (don't quote me, I'm not a doctor). But I wouldn't worry about a miscarriage just because of this. Again, if you are really worried, you don't have to wait a week and a half worrying about it, call your doctor and ask.

Good Luck!
