Has anyone out there used PureGels PreNatal Multi?

I've been looking for reviews but can only find the same three on all the sites I visit. I'd really like to hear more from women who have used these before I make my decision.

I am also considering the New Chapter Perfect Prenatals.

Any insight is appreciated.

Thanks...

Most prenatal vitamins are all going to have the same things in them. You can even buy the cheapy ones at the drug store. Did your doctor give you a prescription?

Nope, she just gave me a bag of samples and said to try them all. I am trying another OB for my next appointment because the last one didn't really seem interested in talking to me and just rushed through the whole thing (she didn't even do anything to confirm my pregnancy as far as we know), and since it was my first appointment, I was incredibly nervous and had no idea what to ask.

So, my husband and I have been left to research on our own about how I should eat and what sorts of vitamins I should take. To top it all off, I have this constant nausea that makes me not want to eat anything, so I am a little worried about what I have read about prenatals causing upset stomachs and such. At this point, I am taking a folic acid supplement of 800mcg a day, and that's it.

A confirmation of your pregnancy is merely peeing in a cup. Wink They test it quite similar to the urine test you took at home.

If you can take a folic acid supplement, you should be able to take prenatals. They are only vitamins.

As far as the morning sickness goes... I don't know much about that. I got sick at the end of my pregnancy and couldn't eat anything with any fat in it. It was awful.

Women have various different things they try for MS. Like soda cracker, ginger ale, they have suckers you can get that are supposed to help...

What not to eat - soft cheeses, deli meats, a lot of fish (you can still eat fish, in moderation). There isn't a lot to this whole pregnancy thing really. Eat well and be healthy. Other than that, your life is going to be the same as before Wink

The American Pregnancy Association website is very organized and informative. They have whole sections on what you should and shouldn't eat, what kinds of exercise you should and shouldn't do, etc. I hope you find a good OB and have a great pregnancy.
