home pregnancy tests negative Posted: 02-05-08 19:20pm
Hi everyone. I am 24 years old, trying to
get pregnant. I have taken several home
pregnancy tests already, which all came
back negative so far... but I am still
hoping. I got my period (maybe
implantation bleeding?) a week early (Jan.
31st).. it was different from my normal
period, not as heavy, and off and on. I
was using tampons, one day it was there,
the next there was nothing, then just a
little. I had minor cramping for 5 days
before I started bleeding, which with my
normal periods I usually start bleeding
the same day cramping starts. The past
couple days I have been so tired, I've
been taking three hour naps. This morning
started frequent urination, I've been
going on average every thirty minutes. I
don't know if it's all in my head because
I want to be pregnant or if it would still
be too early to tell. I have a history of
irregular periods, usually I get two a
month, which this month I skipped the
second one. Just hoping someone could give
me some advice and let me know what you
think. Thanks!!

I've experienced pretty much the same
thing twice before, both times keeping my
fingers crossed that I was pregnant.
Unfortunately I was not, though, and as
sad as it is, I'd bet that you aren't this
time either. I got funky periods and
hoped they were just implantation
bleeding, but it turns out that
implantation bleeding is very very light
in color, usually just a single SPOT and
only just tinged with pink. Most woman
never experience implantation bleeding
either. A first response early result
pregnancy test (or a Dollar Tree baby
test), especially with first morning
urine, would definitely pick up a positive
result by this time in your cycle if you
are in fact pregnant, so if you have to
see it for yourself for sure, I'd suggest
that.
The good news is that no matter what,
there is alwaaaays next month hun! Best
of luck!
