Menstrual irregularity isn't a sign of
pregnancy but can be a sign of some type
of disorder that also manifests with
sterility. Menstrual irregularities (rare
or frequent menstrual periods, short or
prolonged menses, weak or strong
menstruation) are usually signs of
disturbances of the endocrine axis of the
hypothalamus-pituitary-and ovaries. During
such disturbances, ovulation is prevented.
Without ovulation, conception is
impossible. Menstrual cycles without
ovulation are irregular or sporadic in
nature.
It doesn’t seem likely that you are
pregnant but you can take a pregnancy test
to confirm or exclude the possibility.
Furthermore, you can consult a
gynecologist about your sterility problem.
Your husband can request a sperm analyses
to get the process going.
