Stiff neck...help

I dont want to take any tylenol the heating pad makes me hotter then i already am, so what can i do to relieve thid discomfort?

You could try showering with the water on hot or using icy hot massaged in.

Why not? It is a topical cream. There is nothing that would ever come in contact with the baby.

Icy hot, ben gay, all are fine to use when you are pregnant.

ETA: If you are concerned, call up your doctor's office and ask the nurse to make sure you are comfortable with doing it.

i used icy hot for everything during pregnancy
ingi is right it wont hurt you

and tylonol is ok too.

i don't take tylenol while pregnant either. have you tried an ice pack? that's what i use for everything.

yea my mom said she didnt think the icy hot was a good idea so i just gave up lol it just hurts when i turn my head or when im driving

Is your mom a doctor or a nurse?

You could go to the chiropracter. And, yes, it is fine to do that when you are pregnant. In fact, if I ever got pregnant again, I'd go the chiro EVERY week to keep that dreaded sciatica at bay!

my mother taught med students so i would think she would know something but that was many years ago so i figured i would ask here
