Hello, I'm new to this forum and this is
my first post.
For a little over a year and a half I have
bad a nagging pain in my groin, similar to
having been struck in the testicles. Over
time the pain has icreased to at worst
making it very difficult and in some cases
impossible to walk.
Last year I approached my doctor with this
pain, and the past year has been a roller
coaster with exams and tests. I have had
an ultrasound, MRI, CAT scan and bone
scan. I have been examined by three
surgeons from Sholdice institute and ruled
out a hernia. I have also been examined
by two urologists and a couple of doctors
as well as one other surgeon who believe
they have ruled out osteitis pubis.
As for the tests, there have been no
abnormalities in all of the tests, though
the ultrasound showed a slight vericose
blockage in my left gonad, though I have
had children, and the CAT scan verified
that I still have spondilolisthesis in my
L-5.
So I am posting here in hopes that
somebody may recognize my symptoms and
have an idea what I may have going on. My
doctor is currently doing research along
the same lines in medical databases
looking for similar cases.
Here are my symptoms:
Pain centering in my frontal pubis,
under/behind my testicles, that radiates a
shooting pain into my groin and abdomen.
My inner thighs will burn, with shooting
pains, after walking only a few hundred
yards and the resultant limp may be
responsible for the shooting pains around
my side into my lower back, where I have
the spondilolisthesis. All of this pain
is almost exclusively on my right side.
I do not have pain during intercourse,
urinating or during erection. There is a
slight grinding in my hip when on my
knees, at certain angles. If this rings
any bells with people, please let me know.
I am a timberframe carpenter and have
been lifting very heavy beams for the past
2-3 years.
Thanks in advance,
-Josh-

Ya know I've had a similar problem, I
guess it started 2 or so years ago, when
I'd get an erection and then not "follow
threw" so to speak there would be sharp
coursing pain in my testicles and pelvis.
It seemed to go away after a year but just
lately when I walk to and from classes my
right testicle is in aching pain, and the
pain goes into my pelvis and down my legs
like cramps. I've been checked out by my
doctor and he can't find anything wrong
and anytime something goes wrong I feel
like I overreact, I've only had sex with
one person in the past 3 years because I'm
paranoid about getting something or
trusting anyone.
It's weird because I'm only 23 and I feel
like I'm sick or in paint all the time one
way or another.
