I was just watching TV, which I regularly
watch at around 10 every night. I got up
and stopped in the middle of the room, I
was standing up. I was thinking about the
program I had just watched and all of the
sudden I noticed my eyes were blurry and
unfocused and I turned and looked at the
TV to see if I could focus. After about 5
seconds they re-focused and my head felt
heavy then felt a small tingling sensation
then it stopped. This all happened in a
matter of seconds. After words I was/am
shaking, but thats probolly cuz I'm
freaked out. What the heck just happened
to me???

1. It could be that you stood up too
fast... This is not a problem and is a
normal occurance. If it persists tho, I
would recommend you get your
blood-pressure checked. I suffer from
abnormally low blood-pressure and have
taught my self to take it slow when
standing up and such, so I don't get
blurry vision, see stars or possibly even
faint.
2. It could be fatigue. When I am overly
tired, I tend to get "cross-eyed" or
struggle to focus..."foggy eyes".
So really, don't get too freaked out about
it. Just take it easy and if it happens
for an extended period of time, get your
self checked out with a doctor.
Hope this helped

yeah, most likely it's from low
blood-sugar from not eating or low blood
pressure and it could also be fatigue. try
to "feed your eyes" with the esential
nutrients they need to keep them healthy
no matter what, cause pretty much
everythin' that's happenin' in your body
can negatively affect your eyes. it
requires some time and effort to research
about these nutrients, but they can
certainly help a big deal. good luck.

Also, as you get older (I'm not saying you
are, but I just thought I would throw this
in!) it takes longer for your eyes to
change focus because the focusing bit of
the lens (can't remember what it is
called) gets hard with age and less
flexible.
That was rather a useless piece of
information, wasn't it? Sorry.

Not really...My eye focusing has always
been slow/weird. Lecturers at college
used to look at me funny and I couldn't
understand why. Then one day, the one
lecturer accused me of being on drugs
because my pupils was always dialated when
she saw me. I have never touched drugs in
my life...except for prescription/chronic
meds...
