They may be "just doing their jobs" but believe me, they are going to pay for what they are doing in some way, shape or form. They may be making big bucks off of screwsups and just plain cold women who do not have a conscience when they abort now, but just you wait, god has a plan to punish these doctors for what they do.

Typical banter from someone who has absolutely no moral values or standards. Well, I happen to think that abortion is wrong no matter what the circumstances are. Why do women have to abort their babies? Fine you aren't ready for a child. You screwed up, didn't use birth control, were too damn drunk to take responsibility for your actions when you had sex, were raped, birth control-contraception failed-whatever the circumstances where, it isn't the living being inside the mother's fault that he/she was created. So why do they have to die? Because they are unplanned/inconvienent? What is so wrong with adoption? There are many, many couples who would give their limbs to have a child but can't conceive for one reason or another, and so many women who can easily conceive, but throw their child away in a trash dump of an abortion clinic. And don't think of arguing with me about whether it's tissue or a living being inside the mother. At the moment of conception that "thing" has life and is living. The problem with you people is that you want to do what you damn well please in life regardless of how irresponsible and immoral it is and not have anyone call you out for it. Well, think what you please. I can see that you are so far gone that you simply chalk it up to me being holier than thou. Well, for your info, I am not perfect, but at least I try to be a responsible adult every day of my life and don't go around having free for all irresponsible sex like a good portion of women who have abortions do. And even if the pregnancy wasn't the result of carelessness, I still don't think the child should have to suffer. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Some food for thought. What would you women do if abortion hadn't been legalized in 1973? You may have been forced to give the baby up for adoption if you didn't want it unless you wanted to have a back alley abortion like the old days---and risk all the serious complications-- from leaving a woman unable to get pregnant again if she did want a child in the future, to infection, and in some cases, even death. Just think about it. What would you women do today if abortion was illegal? Perhaps some of you would think twice about your sexual behavior. That is for sure!

An other thing--women have been having abortions for centuries and I mean centuries before greek antiquity. Do you now what that means trutledove? 40,000 years ago if you can comprehend that. And have you realized that there is a population problem? I suggest you invest in something called "education".

Tubby,you are a trip!You are making assumptions about women you do not know.I,for one have never had an abortion.I support the right to choose so women are not forced into back-alley abortions again.I have a great aunt who died having one during the depression.That is why I support the choice.Not all women who have abortions are irresponsible.Many women are faced with great financial or mental health issues,and to continue with a pregnancy would not be in their best intrests.I'm glad that you have always used your birth control with 100% success,that is not always the case for some women.Must be just peachy living in such a utopic place.Let the rest of us know your secret,because you have all the answers.Patty

Again, sorry if I offended you, patty, and once again, women like annifant make me go off on a tangent. I'm a pretty good judge of character, patty. I can tell the difference between a woman who may have experienced an unwanted pregnancy from contraceptive failure or an unfortunate occurance like rape and one who just is plain irresponsible and has promiscious sex and abortions as often as they take a shower or change their underwear, by the way they speak. Someone who accuses me of being holier than thou or ignorant to the ways of the world makes me angry because in my eyes, i'm not claiming to be perfect. To me, it is just common sense that for every irresponsible action there is a consequence that isn't always pleasant. It's a matter of distinquishing between responsible women who accidentally get pregnant by unfortunate circumstances and women who accidentally get pregnant because they just don't give a damn about the consequences of what they do. Yes, I said women like the latter should be sterilized because i'm disgusted by their total disregard for taking responsibility for their sexual conduct, and disgusted because women like that make other women who aren't like that look like "whores" in the minds of men. Think about it. If you were a man saw how a woman like annifant talks about sex, wouldn't you think she was a "prostitute"? And not saying that just because a woman has sex, she is a prostitute. It's the promiscious behavior is what makes a woman a "prostitute". As I said earlier, if you're prochoice I can't change your mind, but at least I know now that you aren't irresponsible when it comes to taking precautions. And I am smart enough to realize that abortion is going to be around forever whether I like it or not, and I realize there are certain circumstances where it wouldn't be in the women's or babies best interest to keep a child, but I don't think adoption should totally be ruled out here even though you may think that terminating the pregnancy is the answer. I'm sure there must be some financial help out there for mothers who decide to give up their babies for adoptions as opposed to abortion in terms of prenatal care, isn't there? After all, if they do decide on an abortion, they have to pay for that too, and where do they get the money for that? And the further along you are depending on at what point you decide to have the abortion, the more expensive it is because there is more baby to abort than in the early weeks of pregnancy. All i'm trying to do is make women think about their actions and perhaps if I can change just a few minds about abortion, I can save a few women from the pain that they may experience later on. By the way, sorry that happened to your aunt, and yes, that is the basis for the argument for legalizing abortion--to avoid the dangers of back alley abortions. But I guess being a prolifer, you tend to think from the babies' or "living things'" point of view and the pain they may feel while being aborted. They don't have a choice what is being done to them like their mothers do. Something to think about too.

a "prostitute" is a prostitute -- i.E. Someone (male or female) who has sex not because they want to, but in order to secure a financial or some other gain. So someone who has sex, even when she doesn't want to, with a man because he buys her nice things or looks after her children can be regarded as a "prostitute".

But lets remember that a promsicuous man is someone to be admired -- a "stud"!

case in point right here. "ass" is a nasty curse word. But we must not offend a member of the prochoicers here. She has the freedom to call me what she pleases. If i'm not mistaken, this is the abortion debate forum, but you prochoicers are determined to get rid of someone who doesn't agree with your viewpoints. This forum is meant for members of both sides of the issue, but as far as I can see, you gals don't want to play fair. Oh, and I did hear of contraceptive failure, rape, and dying from childbirth. If you had more than a third grade reading level, perhaps you would've seen that I mentioned some of these issues in some of my other posts, thank you very much. And also, dying from childbirth isn't nearly as common as it was a century ago because of the modern medical technically, so you gals can't use that as an excuse to abort.
