Spotting a sign of implantation bleeding Posted: 02-07-08 02:09am
Okay, so here's my deal. My regular period
is between the 15th and the 16th of every
month. I had unprotected sex with my SO ON
01/26-01/27. On 02/04 I started having
some spotting (brownish, then light pinky)
but didn't think much of it, though it was
extremely unusual for me, as I am
extremely regular all of the time. The
bleeding was extremely light and only
appeared when I wiped. The bleeding lasted
from the 2nd-5th and varied from brownish
to pinkish/reddish, and has not increased
in amount of blood/discharge. I have also
experienced extreme fatigue, been very
moody, and had cramping mostly on my left
side. I had a Pap smear less than a month
ago and everything was normal, and I am
STD free. I took a couple pregnancy tests
and they all have been negative. As I
mentioned before, my periods are always
regular. Could I be pregnant?

if you took test the reason why they were
neg is because its wayy to soon
but you camn take a test in 14 days.
you could be pregnant if you had
unprotected sex. you would most likely
NOT be having any symptoms at all yet
since its too soon.
just because your periods have always been
reg doesnt mean that you wont ever have an
irregular period. it happens all the times
and its really common

Suzy is right; your period can be
irregular at any time, even if it was
always regular in the past. This can be
due to many things such as stress (you
seem to be stressing out about being
pregnant, so it may delay it).
However, on the 26-27 it is possible that
you could have ovulated and become
pregnant. You should take a test again in
a few days. Make sure to use your first
morning urine. It contains the most of
the hormone that is detected on pregnancy
tests.
If you don't want to be pregnant, you
should look into birth control (it is free
and without parental consent no matter
what your age at Planned Parenthood if you
are scared of your parents knowing) or
always wear a condom.
