Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder
affects approximately 8%-10% of American
school age kids and teens. Although ADHD
is usually diagnosed in childhood, it is
not a disorder that affects children only
-- ADHD often persists into adolescence
and adulthood and is frequently not
diagnosed until later years.
