MAOI + Tricyclic ok together ? Posted: 02-07-08 20:43pm


I just started Nardil for depression and anxiety, but it causes me insomnia. I still have some elavil from earlier which I was wondering if it would be okay to take to help me sleep. Is it safe to take these two medications together? Thanks

That would be a question for your doctor to answer and not us. I personally don't know what other meds you are on and some do not go well with MAO inhibitors. Consult your doctor please. Carrie
