You have got to admit that you have never been in this situation yourself.

What position are we specifically talking about?

we also have the problem with people abusing the welfare system here, so many people are on welfare and dont need it and a lot of times it works out better to stay on benefits so many people dont even have the motivation to get a job because they find it so cruisy on welfare.

www.workandincome.govt.nz/ this is the place that administers benefits in NZ and i admit that a lot of people do need to be on a benefit temporarily and definitely dont enjoy being on it, so im not dissing the geniuine people who receive benefits.

hard work yeah!!! when we were getting the store started i was there 24/7 from 10a to 7p everyday with my puppy in the back and she learned how to climb over the gate we had blocking her off so she wouldnt get to the front. so on top of dealing with costumer i was chasing a puppy. no fun. i remember one day the people next door got robbed and it scared me so bad because the guy that robbed them came into my store before hand and was talking to me. thank god it wasnt me though!

I was 16 when we got pregnant w.our daughter. I finished my sophomore year in high school, & even got 2 mos. into my Junior year before deciding to drop out. I was 8 mos. pregnant. Since before I became pregnant, I was also working part-time at McDonalds, & had saved every dime since (w.intentions of buying a car). So between all my saved money, & my boyfriend's job... we were able to buy everything our daughter needed, & more. We also received a TONN of gifts at my baby shower. My parents, of course, did & continue to do what most grandparents do, SPOIL her w.love, new clothes, toys, ect, ect. I had every credit needed -plus more- since being in high school, that dropping out after only a trimester into my Junior year didn't affect me, & going back, I would be a Senior. SO I decided to put Jayden in daycare, & I went back. Two mos. into being back, Jayden ended up w.RSV & was in the hospital for 10 days. Of course, I was w.her EVERY SINGLE DAY. My high school was going to expel me, & b.c. that goes on your record (schooling), I just dropped out, yet again. We decided it was best that I just stay-at-home w.her b.c daycare was doing more bad than good. She has been more than perfect, w.this decision. We are happy. We live in a nice apartment, & are making it wonderfully. He works full-time, & I continue to stay-at-home w.our daughter. I am now 19, & 8 mos. pregnant w.our 2nd, a precious baby boy. & I couldn't ask for more. I did, however, get my GED. I have dreams of someday going to college to become a Nurse... but as for now, I'm totally happy & content. Very
Happy

october05_mommy, I'm glad things worked out for all of you.

How old is your (bf? husband?)? What does he do for work?

I'm glad you got your GED.

Before you got pregnant, what did you see when you pictured your future? Did you plan to go to college right after high school? Did your friends go off to college?

How did your parents handle all of this?

edited because I found many of the answers in your profile:

Quote:
My boyfriend, Terrence (22) & I (Krysti, 19) have been together since October 18, 2003, marking our 4th year together. We would def. love to get married, but we dream of a perfect wedding & are waiting until we have the finances to make those dreams come tru. I mean, it's only legal papers, right!? The love we have can only be held in our hearts, no matter how long we wait.

When you say you would love to get married, did your bf propose to you? Do you guys consider yourselves to be engaged?
