If you have sex at least once a day there
is nothing more you can do but to ask for
a medical attention. Your age (late 30's)
can have a negative impact on the process
of trying to conceive but there are
chances for you to conceive as long as you
are ovulating.
In order to diagnose the cause of
sterility, you partner should be examined
first using sperm analyses. If he checks
out OK you can be put under several
diagnostic procedures. First you should
identify if you are ovulating, or not.
That can be confirmed with hormonal
analyses, measuring basal temperature,
ovulation predictor tests and via an
ultrasound scan. If you have no problem
with ovulation the next step is to check
the passage of the genital tract, an
examination that takes place via HSG and
laparoscopy with hysteroscopy. Tests for
various sexually transmitted diseases
(STD) are also requested in order to
diagnose possible causes for sterility.
You can consult a gynecologist about your
condition to seek consultation for the
diagnostics.
