I recently had a spinal tap and my results came back positive with a high number of oligloconal bands and elevated IgG level. I have a fungal infection on a couple of toenails and was wondering if that infection would have affected the results. I also have genital herpes, although I haven't had an outbreak in years, and was wondering if that could have affected the results. I know the bands and igg level are positive indicators of MS but could it be something else?
