I'm on my 12th day of the generic form of
loestrin 24 and my appetite has changed.
Every time I'm done eating my stomach
aches, and in the mornings I cramp up. I
never used to have that. Anybody been thru
that? I'm also thinking of taking diuretic
pills to get rid of my water weight. I was
aiming for the birth control pill that
also had a diuretic in it but they didn't
have it. has that worked out for anybody?
Also I'm yet to get my first period, but
when I do, is it safe to have unprotected
sex (even if I am bleeding?) during that
time? I know I'm safe when I'm taking my
active pills, but my non active pills
don't have hormones in them.so I was just
wondering if I should just be safe and use
condoms during that time

If you are taking a diuretic it is most
likely causing a loss in water in your
muscles. Your best bet would be to
replenish at least some of the water you
are losing so you don't hurt your self.
Try gatorade to help with the loss in
electrolytes as well

Yes, it is safe to have sex during your
period week when you're on the pill.
Definitely check with your pharmacist or
doctor before you take loestrin with a
diuretic.
