Actually, on most mini-pills, if you miss one, you are protected after two days. 48 hours. So the sex you had on the 8th and 9th was protected, as long as you had been taking your pills correctly from the 3rd to then.

If you aren't having a period, there's no way to know when you are ovulating. You might still ovulate, there's like a 50% chance that you are ovulating, the mini-pill works in different ways than most pills (which is why it's effective after only two days). SO what I'm saying is, you might be ovulating, but there's really no way to know if you are or when you are, if your period isn't regular.

The mini-pill is a lot pickier than most pills. You have to take it on time every day (meaning, no more than 3 hours later) or you do have a chance of getting pregnant. So, if you missed a pill Saturday, and had sex on Sunday, you could get pregnant even if you took the pill Sunday. So you could be pregnant from that first time you mentioned.

You will have to wait until about two weeks after that first time (until the 18th) but then you can take a pregnancy test.
