william went straight from the crib to the cotbed, so i wouldn't know for sure. i thought it would be cheaper buying the cotbed instead of buying the cot and then the bed because the cotbed can last until they're three i think. but i bought william a toddler bed 2 months ago because i knew he was ready as we had to take the sides off the cotbed a few months before
so a cot and cotbed are near enough the same but cotbed is bigger and turns into a bed and probably saves alot more money in the long run

When I take things apart (it could be anything really, but specifically the cribs), I store all the screws and bits in a ziplock bag. Then I tape the bag to the crib before putting it into storage. That way, I have all the parts later. Hopefully! Because I've been known to lose a few parts now and again Wink
