and if so...would it be normal that i have
been bleeding for almost a straight month
now?
for the first couple of weeks it was like

I would think it would be out of your
system but i dont understand why the
bleeding would start now, i would think it
was BC related if it happened in dec/jan.
You should call your doctor. Are you TTC?
or are you gunna get a new BC?

I was supposed to get my second shot in
december as well and forgot to bring the
prescription down south with me. Since I'm
not sexually active anyway I'm just
waiting on the next one. I have not gotten
a period yet. I had a few hours if
extremely light spotting (just when I
would wipe really) in january and that's
been it. I'm not worried lol, not TTC and
not sexually active so... I'm just
enjoying it!
Though over the past week or so my body
has felt like it's getting into its
original grooves again, which is actually
kind of refreshing in a strange way, even
though it's breast tenderness and
occasional abdominal cramping.

Even having taken only one dose, it may
still take quite some time before you're
actually able to conceive again. Mind you
it's very individualistic - the time
periods vary with each person, and it
depends heavily on your own body.
The continuous bleeding is common with
Depo, and that may be an indicator that
the medication is still in your system.
Give it some time, it should pass soon.

it was because i didnt have my period in
november so i thought itwas like makingup

Oh, trust me, I feel your pain! The
bleeding is the most frustrating part of
Depo. It seriously drove me up a wall for
the first month.
My gyno recommended that if it goes on for
more than a month straight, though, to
come back and see her.

It can take up to a year to conceive after
one dose. I'm living proof. After one dose
of depo for me it took 1 year and 7 months
to fall pregnant!
