Hey there ladies!! I'm so sorry for all of the questions...I'm just trying to find out as much as I can about this pregnancy stuff! I have my first OBGYN appt. this Thursday...does anybody have any idea what I can expect? Thanks so much for any tips!

No problem! The first appointment is usually alot of questions, paperwork, you pee in a cup lol. They check vitals and you'll need blood drawn. Sometimes you have a pap on your first exam, sometimes it's the second appointment. Either way expect it soon lol.

Make sure you write down any questions you have for the doctor before your appointment that way you dont forget to ask anything. They will also go over nutrition and vitamins with you if you haven't already started taking some. Good Luck

i thought this was saying youd already been lol. I actually didnt p in a cup the first time but i did have a lovely pap smear (ew) If you recently had one tho you can tell them you dont want one until your 6 weeks postpartum. paperwork filling out, and i got a few free bag of magazines and samples.

I had to pee in a cup, get a pap and they also did a breast exam. They gave me a bunch of mags and nutritional papers also. They also did the reg check up stuff, weight, height, blood pressure etc. Make sure u are taking your prenatals. Goodluck hun!

Thanks so much, you guys! I'm getting super nervous but super excited for my appt. now - it's at 8:30AM (EST) tomorrow morning! Yay! I'll be sure to let you all know how it goes!
