British Expat overseas on contract. very
skeptical of the local health care however
find the need to share this.
Age: 26
Sex: Male
6'1" - 80kg - Average build (used to by
skinny) - Getting a bit flabby about the
waist the past year or so.
Smoke: 10 - 20/Day - Lucky Strike
Drink: Quite a lot - Mostly on Friday and
Sat , 5 - 10 Glasses of Various (Beer,
Mixer, Whiskey etc - Depends on the day /
Seldom mix)
Diet: Pretty good, I like good healthy
food
Stress: Minimal
Drug use: Smoke pot from time to time.
Rarely do hard drugs.
Past Medical History: Spontaneous
pneumothorax / surgery 1999 stapled the
bulla and all well.
Present complaint:
Chest pain - sense of pressure. Not
extremely painful however very
uncomfortable. Usually occurs following
long periods of inactivity or when tired.
Does not cause breathlessness. Sometimes
accompanied by slight throbbing center
left of the sternum. Pain lasts 5 to 20
mins on and off.
Back Pain - Recent development. I suspect
this pain may well be internal, such as
the discomfort associated with the
pheumothrox however less violent. The
discomfort was evident when I was finding
it hard to get comfortable during sleep.
This is very unusual as I sleep very sound
(too sound my wife would say).
Urine/stools all normal. Diet unchanged.
No extreme or excessive exercise of late.
I walk a few km daily. Not healthy however
not extremely the opposite either.
Will be sure to visit the GP back home
when on leave in a month or so. Just need
to get this out.
Stay well good people

Sounds like facet joint locks in thoracic
spine. Very common problem.

Twisted pelvis cause muscle tightness and
pain. Twisted pelvis is usually the reason
for thoracic joint locks.
Insightful avenue to look into, expatient.
I gather that by your nickname you are in
good health
Would a chiropractor be high on the list
to consult?
Enjoy your week ahead.
Stay well

Perhaps, but many of them are quite poor
with skills. Osteopathians too. I prefer
to seek someone older with a lot of
practical experience. Doesn't matter what
is the title of the education. In old
times they had a proper technique
education. These days they don't even
learn the basics well enough.
