Anyway, now that she has that out of her
system, I can begin.
Basically, I hate money. I was receiving
child tax benefits from the government up
until recently.. but apparently, now that
I'm living with Jonny, I'm not entitled to
anything.. which makes no sense to me. I
was entitled to about £100 a week when I
lived with my parents (bearing in mind I
paid no rent there) & now because I
live with my partner, I get nothing. &
to make things even worse, the government
realised they've overpaid me, so now they
want £500 back in one go.. & we don't
have anywhere near that amount. We have
-£100 in our account right now.
I just hate the way the system works... I
really thought we could happily live off
our combined income, but now we're living
off just Jonny's wages, & we have so
many bills to pay & rent day comes
round so quickly... argh this repayment
thing is the last thing we needed.
Apparently we are entitled to some money
as a couple, but the tax people were so
unhelpful when I spoke to them.. I'm going
to have to research it. I'm going through
quite a rough time right now, everything's
just sorta hit me at once. Little things
keep going wrong & it's getting me
down so badly. Jonny thinks I should go
see a doctor because lately I've spent
most of the time crying.
I know I'm whinging & I'm sorry.. but
I just needed to vent. This place has been
nothing but drama recently, so I'm hoping
there are still supportive people out
there willing to reply & make me feel
a bit better.

he'll receive working tax credit if he
works more than 16 hours a week but less
than 40 i think, but i really think she
should still be entitled to child tax.
i've always been entitled to it
