Hello all! Sorry I haven't been around
very much, but I have been unbelievably
busy. I know some of you are expecting
very soon, and some of you have had your
babies, so If I miss someone, please don't
feel slighted.
I am in therapy twice a week to help deal
with whatever the root of my anxiety is,
so hopefully i won't feel like hiding
under the covers anymore, LOL. The good
news is I have been busier with my
business that I am trying to get off the
ground, so I hope to keep the momentum
going there.
Hannah just got over having RSV. Her
fever two nights in a row was 104.3, and
her breathing was pretty shallow and her
heart rate was in the 160's. I dosed her
with more Ibuprophen and called the
doctor. Not sure if all of you know this,
but if your child is very sick with fever,
you can dose Ibuprophen every six hours,
with a dose of Tylenol between each dose.
That really helped get her fever under
control. I also put her in a tepid bath
and , truthfully, that worked better than
anything else. She was calm and cool
after that, then she slept through the
night for the first time in five days. My
dh caught something like it and was really
sick for about 5 days. He took three of
those days off work, but he's improving
too (he really is the biggest baby of the
bunch!) I did some chest PT on him
yesterday to help break up the junk in his
lungs which helped him to sleep the night
through too. Geneva only had one day when
she was sick and the next day she wanted
to go to school!
Valentine's day is coming up! Geneva and
I made valentines for her class over the
weekend. They were little bees with
lollipops for heads with googly eyes and
heat foam stickers for wings that said
"Bee my valentine" and then the sucker
stick was stuck through an oval shaped
yellow and black striped piece of paper.
She will probably get made fun of since
they don't have those stupid Bratz dolls
on them, but I don't care. We had fun
making them. She made her teacher a paper
flower and put it in a little heart-shaped
box. Its from this book she got for her
birthday on how to make these really
beautiful paper flowers. Neat stuff.
Well, I hope all of you are doing better
than we have been, but we are mmost
certainly on the mend.

Hannah woke up this morning and threw up
all over me for no reason. Then she fell
asleep watching Clifford on the couch.
She must be sick again...

LOL sarah! She was the ONLY kid that made
valentines. All the kids made home- made
valentines when I was growing up. My mom
insisted that it was creative and a good
process to go through. Geneva and I had a
blast, but I sure hope she didn't get
blasted at school.
Darren gave me a single pearl on a
sterling silver chain and a really neat
verse on canvas about peace. I'll try to
remember it for ya:
"Peace does not mean to be in a place
where there is no noise, trouble or hard
work. It means to be in the midst of
these things and still be calm in your
heart"
I thought it was perfect in light of the
stuff I have been dealing with. He did
good! I made him a stupid cheezy home
made valentine with sily white lace around
it.

It's Lee under my user name. I'd bet that the
kids were rather jealous of the work. I
mean a MOM who LIKES arts and crafts?
That's really cool!
That's a lovely gift from your husband.
We got in a mini fight and then bought his
aunt a pillow with the words "I love you"
on it. She loved it.
I'm really glad that you're feeling
better. Yoga (heh heh) can help with
anxiety...I know! It helps really get me
out of my head. And did I tell you about
the free classes at yogatoday dot com?
Um, they're great. Nuf' said. Keep us
posted. I'm rooting for you!

I will check out that site. I got my
'puters fixed, so now both have web
access, so I can do the class downstairs
where there is room. It's so nice to have
the computers fixed! Maybe my head will
follow suit. I get to go see my
psychiatrist again today. Yippee!
