was badly flooded in december anyways.. We
heard alot of scraping under the house and
the smell of rotten wood followed and then
about 2 hours after the guys left we all
started getting headaches.. we thought it
was just allergies but its gotten worse..
headaches are around still we are all
exhausted though we tend to sleep ALOT..
also dizziness, nausia, and my sister and
i are having stomach problems and i keep
tasting copper like i licked a handful of
pennies.. Anyways what i want to know is

Have you noticed some mold growth in your
house?
Are you experiencing decreased attention
span and difficulty in concentration,
too?
Are you the only one in the house who's
having metal taste?

If you live in an area with high humidity,
then you should always be on the lookout
for potential mold problems. Naturally,
the outdoor humidity affect indoor
humidity levels, creating a perfect
environment for toxic mold growth.
Can you feel musty odors in your home?
Have you experienced weakness and
diarrhea, too?
Do you drink water from pipes or bottled
one?

I Live In A New Home Posted: 03-08-08 02:33am
only six years old to find that I have had
a continual leakage problems with windows
letting water enter my home.
Upon the removal of our flooring, we
discovered this horrible black
mold/mildue/failed flooring beneath two
windows. I asked the young men, in fact,
demanded that they wear ventilators before
they breathed into it. They removed the
flooring, and we put in heaters to reduce
the moisture in the wood and the
structure.
They sprayed all the black mold with a
chlorine bleach/water mixture to kill the
mold. Now, I face the fact that now my
home has termites which are drawn to the
source of water. Not a good day in
paradise.

How does black mold and fungus affect our
bodies to the point of diarrhea, cramping
in the stomach? I realize that it is a
poison.
If you can still smell musty smells even
though the wetness has dried up, is there
danger?
In the U.S., insurance companies have
bailed out of coverage with any mold
related issues; however, all these
companies who sell you bad doors and
windows are themselves insured. What a
can of worms.
Thanks.

I have been upstairs the past two days and
have noticed a very strong mold smell in
the library which had water entering
through the french doors and the insurance
emergency services people pulled up the
carpet, threw out the carpet pad, put in a
dehumidifier and two fans for two days.
It dried it out.
Now that it is the weather is warming up
(in the 70's), I have really noticed that
mold smell.
This morning I had blood in my sputum. Am
I having a reaction to the mold?
